Walk Of Hope Toronto 2016

On a beautiful Sunday near the end of summer 2016, CSM Image participated in the Walk of Hope. The annual event is put on by Ovarian Cancer Canada to raise awareness and funds to work towards the treatment and cure for ovarian cancer. The deadly disease affects thousands of Canadian women and their families.

The September 11th event was filled with music, dancing, booths that included exotic animals, massage tables for walkers to limber up, a kids station, a dog station, and food, of course. Hundreds of high-energy participants came out to walk (or run, in some cases) the 2.5 km and 5 km courses that started in Woodbine Park and made their way along the boardwalk of the stunning Woodbine Beach.

Walk of Hope: CSM Image to participate in Ovarian Cancer Canada event for 3rd year

In September, Ovarian Cancer Canada holds an annual event called the Walk of Hope, which raises awareness and funds for the disease that 2,800 Canadian women are diagnosed with each year. Across the nation in over 45 communities, ovarian cancer survivors, the survived, family, friends, and organizations participate in the family-oriented activities that empowers all who are affected by the illness.

CSM Image is proud to be an official participant in the Walk of Hope for a third consecutive year. In 2014, we provided photography coverage of the London, Ontario walk, and last year we provided photography coverage for the Toronto, Ontario walk.
